Description
A cabinet card photograph, a young woman, Los Angeles, 1895. A young woman is posed for a studio portrait. She is dressed in a light colored dress and features oversized bishop or gigot sleeves which was typical of the decade. Her bodice has large pleats running vertically. She also wears long gloves and stands next to a dressing divider. The photo mount is a swiss panel with thin, tall scalloped edges at the bottom. The image was taken by Frank G. Schumacher. The object is in good condition with minor delamination at the bottom edge, fading, and surface soiling.
