Description

A cabinet card studio photograph of Thomas Workman Temple II as a toddler (1905-1977), ca. 1905. Thomas wears a white, cotton gown, possibly a christening gown and is seated on a chair. There is a folded blanket positioned on the back of Thomas. He has curly hair styled in three parts and appears to be between the age of six months to one year. The studio background is plain with no distinguishing design or scenary. A photographer's stamp is located on the right, bottom edge as Allan W. Ramsey, Whittier. An inscription written in ink on the reverse identifies him as "Tommy Temple." There is also a stamp of a baton wielding police officer on the back. With heavy soiling, fading, silverfish damage, ink blots, and abrasons, it is in fair to poor condition.
