Description
A cabinet card photograph, "Los Angeles street building," December 1906. The view shows several men working a team of eight horses pulling road grading equipment on a newly-created thoroughfare. In the background are some houses. The title and date are inscribed in ink on the reverse. A reference to an "Auntie" is in ink but smeared and there are also several mathematical computations in pencil. With significant staining, tears, soiling, and losses to the photo and missing corners, stains, soiling and wear to the matte, the condition is poor.
