Description
A cabinet card photograph, "No 402 East Lake Park," Los Angeles, unattributed, but probably W. H. Graham, ca. 1890s. In view is the lake and the boathouse (with some canoes) and grazebo across the body of water. Behind the structures are thick stands of trees and structures of which all are reflected on the water. In 1918, the park was renamed Lincoln Park and the community name had changed from East Los Angeles to Lincoln Heights. The number and title are in white ink at the bottom, but hard to read without magnification. Although the photographer's name is not present, the style of lettering indicates W. H. Graham. The photo is pasted onto a gray album page and with some warping and minor soiling, the condiiton is good.
