Description
A cabinet card photograph, "No. 417 Baldwin's Ranch," probably Graham, ca. 1898. In view are rows of eucalyptus and other trees in a dense profusion on Elias J. "Lucky" Baldwin's Rancho Santa Anita compound in modern Arcadia. A house is partially in view at center with a bell under a covering structure at the left. A circular driveway leads to the building and ropes block access. At the right is a croquet set up and a sign at the center warns against picking flowers. The photo is mounted onto album paper with photo .6 on the other side. With some curvature, warping, and light soiling, the condition is good.
