Description
A cabinet card photograph of a boy and girl, Sunbeam Art Gallery, Los Angeles, ca. 1890s. The two are standing on a carpeted platform in front of a painted backdrop and a curved backless armchair. The boy at left wears a black outfit with a shirt containing puffed shoulders and sleeves, a tie and wide triangular collar, short pants, high laced boots and stockings. The girl, probably the former's sister, wears a light colored knee-length dress with a large heart-shaped collar with lace detailing, dark stockings and dark shoes. With some soiling and edge abrasions, the condition is good.
