A cabinet card photograph of a float, "Cage of Golden Song," from Hyde Park School, Shriners' parade, Los Angeles, 5 June 1925. The float, with its gazebo-like cage, floral decorating and two male students holding a banner with the name of the float and school, now the Young Empowered Scholars Academy, is parked at the side of a road, behind which are Spanish Colonial Revival structures, possibly school buildings. With some losses at the upper left, not affecting the image much, and the matte, ink smudges and some soiling, the image is in fair condition.
