Description
A cabinet card photograph of a group of adults, children and priests standing in front of St. Josephs Catholic Church, 1911. The photographer was C.W. Tucker, in Covina, Cal. The large group are posed in front of the church and the young children and adolescents are wearing regalia consistent with the completion of the sacrament of Confirmation. The inscription on the reverse states that the children completed a Confirmation but due to the young ages of some of the children, it is most likely a mixture of some having completed their First Holy Communion while the other older children completed their Confirmation to the Catholic faith. With minor browning, fading of the image, loss and adhesive to lower right corner, moderate abrasions to corners, stains and creasing, it is in good to fair condition.
