Description
A black and white cabinet card photograph of a Los Angeles cafe, ca. 1900s. There is a woman at a cash register and two men in suits and bow ties behind the lunch counter which has eight stools. To the right are some of the set tables and chairs. On the shelving along the wall behind the trio are packaged goods, presumably food, and there is a glass case with cigar boxes next to the register. At the back is a door to the kitchen and, next to that, a cooler with three doors The portion of the matte above the photo is missing and there was inscribed text on it, leaving only "Los Angeles / Calif." Aside from the loss and rubbing to the matte, there are some small stains and light soiling on the photo, so the overall condition is fair.
