Description
A cabinet card photograph of Angelus skating rink, Los Angeles, 1906. The view shows the interior with its wide floor, balconies along the perimeter and bunting and flags hanging from the open beams of the roof. One banner at the upper left reads "Angelus Rink." On the reverse is an ink inscription from Los Angeles, dated August 1906 and also noting the city of Huntington, West Virginia and "Compliments of / Thomas Fellows / Architect." The matte is dark gray so stains and soiling are masked, though there is some major rubbing and some chips from the edges, but the overall condition is good.
