Description
A cabinet card photograph of Cliff and Ada Reel, Sunbeam Art Gallery, Los Angeles, ca. 1899. The two appear to be bride and groom, as they both wear corsages.She has on a high-necked white dress and he has a dark suit and white dress shirt. Notably they are looking in different directions. On the reverse are their names in pencil. Harry Clifton Reel (1877-1960) was from Maryland and lived in Illinois before migrating to Californa. He worked as a salesman, bookkeeper and house painter. His wife Ada (1881-1964) was from Colorado. The two lived for many years in Long Beach and had one son. With soiling, browning, foxing and abrasions, the overall condition is good.
