Description
A cabinet card photograph of Samuel Prudencio Rowland (1866-1916), ca. 1890s. A studio portrait taken by Bijou Studio, Spring Street, Los Angeles. Rowland was the husband of Margarita Antonia Temple (1866-1953). He is shown at a three quarter view. He has a thick moustache and hair combed back with a puff at the front. He wears a suit jacket with a striped bow tie. The photograph is cropped in an oval shape and mounted onto a texturized board. An embossed symbol at the bottom right includes the photographer's studio name as well as a stamp on the reverse. The item is in good condition overall.
