Description
A cabinet card photograph of the Southern California Box Company plant, Los Angeles, ca. 1900s. The view shows two structures, both surmounted with signs showing the firm name and a yard filled with lumber and other materials in the foreground. A couple of workers and a cart are also of note. In 1907, the plant was at 1335 E. 6th Street, west of Mateo and it is presumed that this is the location in the image. With silvering, a stain and soiling on the image and abrasions, rubbing and soiling on the matte, the condition is fair overall.
