Description
A cabinet card portrait of a head shot of a young woman, Frank E. Evans, Los Angeles, ca. 1890s. The unusual image shows the woman's image in a horizontal view and superimposed within a white feathered fan. She wears a high-collared white blouse or dress with a six-pointed star brooch at the throat and her curly hair is pulled up in the back. This is the same woman as in 2011.524.1.3. With some small stains, soiling and edge rubbing, the overall condition is good.
