Description
A cabinet card portrait of Josephine Belt Workman and another woman, ca. 1870s. The image shows Workman seated at left and the other woman, possibly a sister, standing to the right and leaning against a parlor table. On the reverse is an inscription: "From your daughter Josephine Workman," suggesting the image was sent to her mother, Vibiana Asorca, as her father, George Belt was killed in 1869 before this photo was taken. With heavy staining, soiling and stains, as well as mold on the image, the condition is poor.
