Description
A cabinet card photograph, ship cafe "Cabrillo," Venice, 1905. A view of the hotel restaurant from the Abbot Kinney pier in the year of its opening. The ship is docked beside the pier and resembles Juan Cabrillo's Spanish galleon. There are two decks visible, one on the second tier that is covered with an awning. Several people are strolling beside the ship on the pier. The photograph is mounted onto a frame and there is an ink inscription at the bottom. The frame has minor acid burn at the edges, minor surface soiling on the reverse, fading but is generally in good condition.
