Description
A cabinet card studio portrait of a Latina woman and girl, Sunbeam Photo Studio, Los Angeles, ca. 1890s. The view shows the two in front of a scenic backdrop and with both leaning against a pedestal, while the woman at right sits on a chair. She wears a black dress with light-colored circles on it and has black gloves on her hands. The young girl has a black underdress and a light overgarment with what appear to be embroidered designs on it. There is a slight tear at the top right, soiling on the image and some staining and soiling on the matte, but the overall condition is good. With some fading, a couple of small stains and abrasion, the condition is good overall.
