Description
A cabinet card studio portrait of a man, Lawrence and Son, Los Angeles, ca. 1890s. The view is from about the knees up in a plain backdrop setting and shows the subject, perhaps in his twenties, wearing a high buttoned coat, vest, white shirt and, perhaps a tie. A corsage is pinned to his coat, he holds a derby hat in his left hand at his left breast and he has a watch chain and fob at the lower part of the vest. With foxing, staining and soiling, the overall condition is good.
