A cabinet card studio portrait of a man with his bicycle, George and James Dewey, Los Angeles, ca. 1890s. Amid a foral backdrop, the gent stands, perhaps in his riding costume (he may have been a racer), with his left foot on a pedal and hands on the handlebars of the bike. This was during a bicycling craze nationally and locally. With many stains, soiling, a major crease at the lower right of the matte and scratches, the condition is fair.
