Description
A cabinet card studio portrait of a woman, Joseph H. Lamson, Los Angeles, ca. 1892. The image, which is in the large "Paris Panel" format, shows the head and upper torso of the subject, who appears to be in her twenties. She wears a white lace dress with puffed sleeves, a tufted collar, an elaborate floral corsage and a beaded necklace with a pendant. Her hair is pulled up and coiled on top. With some heavy soiling, a few stains, and edge abrasions, the overall condition is fair.
