A cabinet card studio portrait of a young man, Sunbeam Art Studio, Los Angeles, ca. 1890s. The view shows the subject from the mid-chest up. He wears a light-colored jacket, a darker vest, and a black, lace-like bow tie with low-hanging ends. There are a couple of specks on the image, but in open areas to the upper right, minor soiling, and edge abrasions, so the condition is good.
