Description
A cabinet card studio portrait of Charles M. Baker, photographer George Steckel, Los Angeles, ca. 1890s. The head and upper torso shot show Baker, probably in his thirties, wearing a light high-buttoned coat, a striped tie with a pin, white shirt, and sporting a full handlebar mustache. The subject's name is in pencil on the reverse with Steckel's extensive printed cartouche. With very small stains, soiling on the upper left, abrasions, and soiling to the matte, the condition is good overall.
