A cabinet card studio portrait of two young boys, taken in by J. C. Lamb in Santa Ana, ca. 1890. The boys wear almost identical outfits of a wide collar with ruffled edges shirt and a large, loose bow tie with shorts and leggings with boots. The older boy sits on a cushioned wicker chair while the younger one sits on top of the chair back. The chair has been placed on an animal hide. The item is in good condition with minor staining on the reverse.
