Description
A cabinet card studio portrait photograph of Raymond LaDow, Benjamin W. Lawson, Los Angeles, ca. 1896. The image shows the toddler in a full-length view, standing in front a screen with a floral image. He wewars a white dress, probably for a christening, and has on black shoes. His name is on the reverse in pencil. LaDow was born in Los Angeles in 1895 and lived in the Pico-Union area growing up, becoming a carpenter. With light foxing and soiling and edge rubbing, the overall condition is good.
