Description
A cabinet photo of animals at the Norwalk Ostrich Farm, F.M., 1900. The images shows about a few dozen birds in a dirt area in the countryside of the suburban town southeast of Los Angeles about three years before its closure. The birds were then acquired by Edwin Cawston of the famous South Pasadena farm and who used to be a partner at Norwalk. As pasted down to album paper, the image has some creases and impressions from the adhesive, along with light soiling and is in good condition.
