Description
A cabinet card photograph, family in front of house, Los Angeles, ca. 1900. A family of five gather on the porch of their residence. A man and woman stand at the top of the steps and two young girls sit at their feet. The house is of wood construction with a decorative motif at the top edge. Plants and two large palm trees grow in the front yard, fenced in with a wooden fence. The men are identified on the reverse in an ink inscription, William and Fred Petzold at 825 Bartlett Street, built in 1898 and still in existence. The photograph is generally in good condition despite the minor discoloration of the image and abrasions along the photo mount.
