Description
A cabinet photograph of a horse drawn plow in the fields, Los Angeles, ca. 1890s. The photograph is mounted on board with a decorative edge cut in the left and right sides. The image shows a four horse team pulling a narrow plow, driven by a man sitting on top of the plow, an agricultural tool. The plow turns the soil on the farm. In the background is a small hill. With heavy fading, loss at the bottom right corner, and stains, the object is in fair condition.
