Description
A cabinet card photograph of a woman at the studio of Hicks and Boothe, Los Angeles, California, ca. 1889. The photography studio was located at 911 S. Hill Street. An inscription identfies the woman as Lillie Estabrook Crowell, Mrs. Hiland R. Crowell of Los Angeles. Crowell wears a dark colored dress with ruffles on the left shoulder and a ruffled collar. A long necklace chain is visible over her dress. With minor indentations, abrasions, discoloration, stains to the mount, the object is in fair condition.
