Description
A cabinet photograph of a working crew in the wheat fields, Santa Ana, 1895. The photograph was taken by Hardesty & Armstrong, Santa Ana. A view of a group of men, working in the wheat fields with a threshing machine, pitchforks and troughs. Two large carts haul cut wheat and grass, pulled by horses. A man in the foreground rests on a trough while eating a sandwich. There is an ink inscription on the reverse. The photograph has losses on the right side and the cabinet card is yellowing, the item is generally in fair condition.
