Description
A cabinet photograph of students and faculty in front of the Compton School, Compton, California, Hardesty and Armstrong, 1891. The view shows rows of several dozen students and some faculty in front of a side of the wood-framed structure. At three windows above are a few students posed at each. The caption reads "Compton City School 1891." With a major crease running through the image, tape-repaired tears on the matte, small losses on the bottom corners, edge rubbing and soiling, the overall condition is poor.
