Description
A cabinet photograph of the intersection of Broadway and Third Street, Los Angeles, ca. 1900s. Taken from the southwest corner of the intersection, the view takes in some ladies and a girl crossing Third toward the photographer. At the left is part of the H.F. Vollmer and Company store. To the right are portions of commercial buildings and the large clocktower of City Hall. In pencil on the reverse is: "Comon evryday Street cene on Broadway---the ladies Street. The large tower is City Hall, Los Angeles Calif." With light soiling, some blue accretions on the revese, and moderate abrasive and corner bumping, the overall condition is good.
