Description
A cabinet card photograph of the lake at Hollenbeck Park, Los Angeles, ca. 1890. Looking down at lake is a north view from the Fifth Street bridge. Two rowboats are in the water, view of a foot path cutting through the grass lawn on the left side, with several pedestrians. Dense foliage all around the park. An ink inscription on the reverse describes the band stand being near the flagpole to the right and the boat house around the left side, near the foot bridge. The photograph is moderately faded but generally in good condition.
