Description
A cabinet photograph, travelers on two stage coaches in front of stores, Los Angeles, ca. 1890. The photograph was taken by Graham at 119 1/2 S Spring Street, Los Angeles. Two open carriages pulled by a team of six horses each are parked at the side of the dirt road. Both carriages are full of men and women. Trolley tracks are visible in the road. In the background are several storefronts including a tailor, jewelry repair, market, ticket office, dye company, Hans Jevne's grocer. With minor abrasions and fading to the image, the object is in good condition overall.
