Description
A cabinet card photograph of two residences, ca. 1890. To the left is a two story house with pitched roofs and decorative spires. There is a front porch completely obscured by a growing vine that reaches to the second story balcony. The side of the house is gated with a lattice work fence. To the right is a one story house with a bay window on the right and steps leading to the front porch. In the background is a view of a third residence, two story house. The reverse has a pencil inscription, "roses in January," and also the photographer's information. The photograph is in fair condition overall with moderate surface soiling, warping, staining, foxing and heavy fading.
