A cabinet card photograph of a young woman holding a book, ca. 1890s. The woman wears a feathered hat with her hair in a bun and a high collared dress with ruffles at the chest. The blouse is patterned with puffed shoulders, skirt is a solid color. She is wearing leather gloves and holds a small book in her right hand with her left hand behind her back. The studio portrait was taken by Sunbeam Art Gallery, South Main Street, Los AngelesThe photograph is generally in good condition with minor staining around the edges of the mount and overall discoloration.
