Description
A cabinet studio portrait of a teenage girl, Charles Beal, Los Angeles, ca. 1890s. The full-length view shows the subject wearing a plaid dress over a white long-sleeved undergarment, tall laceup boots and a short flat top hat with polka dots. She stands next to an ornate low gate and fence in the studio. In ink on the reverse is the photographer's last name and city. With some stains on the reverse, light soiling, minor rubbing and a small missing piece of the upper left corner, the overall condition is good.
