Description
A cabinet studio portrait of a woman wearing eyeglasses and horseshoe pins, Aemilian Scholl, Los Angeles, ca. late 1890s. The subject is shown in a head-and-shoulder view and has her hair pulled up in back, wears eyeglasses, has on a dark patterned dress with puffed shoulders and a high black collar with lace trim and wears a pair of horseshoe pins at the front of the collar and another pin near the left shoulder. With minimal soiling and rubbing, the condition is good.
