Description
A cabinet studio portrait of a young girl, by photographer Michael A. Wesner, Los Angeles, ca. 1890s. The child wears a white dress, probably a christening gown and sits on a studio prop, perhaps a table or small wall. She has bangs and curly hair. She rests her right hand against her leg, persumably and slightly tilts her head to the right, looking away from the camera or photographer. The image is in an oval frame with a dark matte and Wesner's cartouche is at the lower right. With staining at the top of the reverse, little soiling and minor rubbing, the condition is good.
