A cabinet studio portrait of brothers Ronald and Albert Rader, Albert Witzel, Los Angeles, ca. 1927. The image shows Albert sitting on a tabletop with blocks and a toy dog, while his older brother stands to the right, holding a toy ship in his left hand. On the reverse are the boys names inscribed in pen, while their ages (Ronald at 4 years, 4 months and Albert at 2 years, 1 month) are inscribed under the photo on the portfolio. In 1930, the Raders resided in Eagle Rock just south of Occidental College. This latter is torn, abraded, and soiled, while the photo is relatively free of wear, so the overall condition is fair.Lexicon
