A cabinet studio portrait of Charlie Mitchell, Hartsook, Los Angeles, ca. 1910s. The image shows the subject in a plain studio setting and the full view shows the teenager wearing a messenger's uniform, including a cap with a badge reading "Special Delivery 6", a coat with large buttons, trousers with black stripes on the sides, a vest, a white shirt and a light-colored tie. The young man's name is written in ink on the reverse. With stains on the matte and image, foxing, and abrasions on the matte edges, the condition is fair.
