Description
A photograph of a car tent near Los Angeles, California. ca. 1920s. There is a parked car with a canvas tent attached to the driver side. To keep the top of the tent tight, ropes have been extended out from the tent and staked to the ground. The tent flaps closest to the car has been secured to the wheels. A single chair sits next to the tent. There is another car to the right and a dirt road and structures to the left. With the top right corner missing, rodent damage, minor abrasion to the bottom left corner, and foxing, fading, the object is in good condition overall.
