Description
A carte de visite of a toddler taken in a studio setting, ca. 1880. The image was taken by A. G. Borton in Independence, Iowa. The toddler is seated sideways on a chair with tassels hanging from the seat and back rest. She wears a long sleeve dress and an apron on top with a jagged edge. Her hair is pulled back and curled towards the bottom. She wears closed toe shoes with a strap at the ankle and a choker necklace. The inscription on reverse, "accept this with many kisses from Little Minnie to her Father." The item is in fair to poor condition with moderate soiling, fading, and foxing.
