Description
A carte de visite of an infant taken in a studio setting, ca. 1880. The photograph was taken by U. Scott's Photograph Gallery in G. W. Miller's new block in Waterloo, Iowa. The infant is seated on a chair with a round seat and tassels hanging from the seat and back rest. The infant wears a short sleeved dress. The card is outlined with a red line and has rounded corners. The item is in good condition with moderate fading and surface soiling throughout.
