Description
A carte de visite photograph studio portrait of a woman, Valentine Wolfenstein, Los Angeles, 1870s. The woman is seated and rests her left hand on a round table while her right hand rests atop a small piece of stauary. She wears a lighter-colored dress with black appliqued lines at the sleeves and neck, while the collar is white and she wears a long beaded necklace and drop pendant earrings. She also appears to have a floral headdress. The photographer's mark is on the reverse. With very slight soiling and edge rubbing, the condition is good.
