Description
A carte de visite studio portrait of Thomas W. and Lucinda A. Temple, Valentine Wolfenstein, Los Angeles, ca. 1872. The images shows the children of Antonia Margarita Workman and F.P.F. Temple in a rustic setting, with Thomas seated in a chair and with his hat in his left hand, while Lucinda sits at a lower position next to a tree stump. On the reverse are the inscriptions "Thomas / and / Lucinda" and "2 Mar 1949 / for Inés / T," the latter referring to Thomas W. Temple II and his niece Inez Fatjo. With tape on the reverse, a pin hole, browning in one corner, fading, warping, edge rubbing and some soiling, the condition is fair.
