Description
A cartes-de-visite of Walter Paul Temple (1869-1938), photograph by Valentine Wolfenstein, ca. early 1880s. Temple was the seventh child of Antonia Margarita Workman (1830-1892) and F. P. F. Temple (1822-1880). A full length portait of Temple in his early teens. He wears a three piece suit with a pocket chain on his vest. His right hand rests on a book on a side table with a cloth draped over the top. Includes pencil inscriptions on the reverse. With minor warping, foxing, and discoloration, the object is in good condition overall.
