A catalog and mailing envelope for Page Military Academy, Los Angeles, 1928. The catalog has information on the campus, located in west Los Angeles west of the Mid-City area and which is now a residential neighborhood with apartments on much of the grounds. Admission information, course of study and study suggestions, lists of faculty members, discipline, military drilling, clothing and uniforms, health, and expenses are among the core areas discussed. At the back are lists of current students and graduates, including, in 1918, Thomas W. Temple II, who completed eighth grade there. The envelope has a preprinted return address, handwritten address to the mother of student Robert Neely and two 2-cent stamps. With edge rubbing and soiling to the wrappers, but clean pages, the condition of the catalog is good. The envelope has many creases, soilign and rubbing and is in fair condition.Lexicon
