Description
A chattel mortgage transfer from Joseph W. Drown to John H. Temple, 15 August 1881. The document noted that, for an unspecified sum, Drown transferred to Temple that mortgage executed with him on 13 May by Secundino Andrade, who resided in the Mision Vieja/Old Mission community where Drown was raised with the Temple family. Attached is a notary public document by A.C. Holmes on the same date. With folds, some stains, browning, edge tears, a dogeared corner and soiling, the condition is fair.
