Description
A check from Walter P. Temple to Joseph Kauffman, 25 June 1917. This was when the first Temple lease oil well at Montebello came into production, so the check may have something to do with that event. The check is for $59.15 and has holes punched in the center which read "Paid / 6 27 17." There are perforation tears on the top, bottom and left side, a fold in the bottom right corner, rodent damage on the right side, and soiling on the right side. This object is in fair condition overall.
