"A Child's Garden of Verses," by Robert Louis Stevenson (n.p.: Robert K. Haas Co.,) ca. 1880s. The 96-page miniature book has a red faux leather cover with the title and author's last name embosed on the front within a stylized border. The title is embossed on the spine and a logo for the "Little Luxart Library" is embossed on the center of the back cover. After a dedicatory poem, the work contains forty-one poems under the title and nine others under the heading "The Child Alone." With acid burns on the first and last pages from the cover, brittleness of the cover and pages, cover creases, a dented bottom left corner of the back cover, flaking of the cover and some pages, looseness of cover and page corners, losses of portions of a few pages and portions of the cover, and tears on the cover and some pages, the overall condition is fair.Lexicon
